Terms of Use

1. The service

SetMySlot provides a booking page with the Business's own identity, a dashboard to manage schedules, team, services and clients, email and text reminders, and an assistant that books by chat.

We may also build the Business's website as an extra service, with price and timeline agreed in writing before work starts.

2. Account

You must be 18 or older and give accurate information to create an account.

The Business is responsible for its password, for the people it adds to its team and for everything done in the account.

3. Free trial

Every new account gets 14 days free, with no card. During the trial the Business can send up to 30 texts; emails are unlimited.

When the trial ends without a plan, text reminders stop. The booking page and emails keep working.

4. Plans and payment

Plans are monthly and paid before each period. Prices, team limits and each plan's monthly text allowance are shown on the Billing page of the dashboard.

When the monthly text allowance runs out, text reminders pause until the next month; emails continue.

If a payment is missed, we may pause text reminders and, after notice, suspend the account.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from the next period.

5. Cancellation

The Business can cancel at any time, with no fee. Access continues until the end of the period already paid, with no partial refunds except where the law requires them.

After cancelling, the Business can ask for its data to be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. The Business's responsibilities

The Business is responsible (the controller, under data protection law) for its clients' data and must use it only to serve them and in line with the law.

The Business is responsible for the content of its page: name, photos, text, services, prices and policies.

SetMySlot may not be used to send unsolicited messages, for illegal activities or to mislead clients.

7. Our responsibilities and limits

We work to keep the service available and secure, but we don't guarantee it will run without interruption.

Text and email delivery depends on carriers and providers. We are not liable for messages lost through their failures, nor for clients' no-shows, delays or cancellations.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what the Business paid in the 3 months before the issue.

8. Booking assistant

The assistant uses artificial intelligence and can make mistakes. Before confirming any booking it shows a summary for the client to approve, and bookings follow the same rules as the page.

9. Ownership

The SetMySlot software and brand are ours. Content the Business uploads stays the Business's; it allows us to show it on the booking page and in messages while the account exists.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be announced by email at least 15 days in advance. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the new version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes will be settled in the courts of the Business's place of residence.
